Air Line Trail insignia developed by the Town of Pomfret and the Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Pomfret and the State of Connecticut DEEP for use on maps and in signage by the stake holders in the North section of the trial.
The logo uses elements inspired by the original Boston and New York Air-Line Railroad service schedules and the shape the first train used on the line
